Hip thrusts Hip thrusts with your toes pointed out is going to allow for a greater shortening of the glutes and allow you to bias more of the upper glutes, compared to toes pointed out. This is a difference you’ll be able to feel! 2.SLDLs A regular barbell SLDL is a great exercise for biasing the hamstrings. The variation with the smith machine is even better due to the stability it provides! You’ll really be able to feel your hamstrings more here compared to to just a regular SLD
