One from the archives… 🔍 It was a pleasure to get this piece of our industry’s history out of storage at the Museum & Tasglann nan Eilean for a closer look recently. This unique map details the many Harris Tweed®️ mills that were located around Stornoway in the 1960’s, with only the Harris Tweed by Kenneth Mackenzie Ltd mill still in place in the present day.
