What even IS glow in the dark?🤔Glow-in-the-dark objects work by using a material called a phosphor, which absorbs light energy and then slowly releases it as visible light over time. When the phosphor is exposed to a light source, its electrons absorb the energy, jump to a higher energy state, and are temporarily "trapped" there.
