A shocking number of needle meltdowns and hook burrs come from being inattentive and putting the quilting needle in backwards. The scarf (dish opening) MUST face to the back. It is this wee gap the hook passes behind the thread to make a stitch. Smashing into the needle with the hook is *not ideal* 😂 The
