Here is the 3D CT scan of my Ankle showing the Weber A fracture of the distal Fibula. Interesting finding in the second image of the scan is the cyst present in the fibula supposably from a very old ankle injury 24 years ago. The is now classified as a “pathological” fracture and explains why I broke it without much soft tissue damage when I rolled my ankle. Think of an egg shell break if you like.
