. ‘Every breath carries the song of love to us.’ — Rumi ‘Meditations on a Musette by Couperin’ is one of the brand-new pieces that debuted at the @philharmoniedeparis as part of ‘When Paths Meet Vol. 2’. Due to my deep love of Western Classical music (particularly Early and Baroque) and in honour of our host country, I chose to use François Couperin’s ‘Musette from the Royal Concerts’ (1722) as the starting point for this new composition. Moving into another world of my musical roots, I turned t
