There’s no regulation in dog training in the UK and no required qualifications. It’s not that I think you have to have them. There are excellent dog trainers who have never done a qualification. Experience counts for an awful lot. But there seems to be this narrative that having a qualification counts for nothing, that a trainer with qualifications isn’t as good somehow. I worked hard on my qualifications, and I did them for me. Not because I thought waving them under a potential clients nose wo
