Texas Health began assisting Tarrant County Public Health by administering COVID-19 vaccines to people in the Phase 1B category at three clinics across the county. Phase 1B includes people 65 plus and people 16 plus with at least one chronic medical condition that puts them at an increased risk of severe illness from the virus. Texas Health has been chosen to partner with the state and Tarrant County to support vaccination hubs for our community and will be accepting referrals from Tarrant Count

Texas Health Resources awarded $5.2 million in grants to improve the health of people in the communities we serve. The initiative, Texas Health Community Impact, will help seniors without access to healthy food, youth and seniors living with behavioral health issues, and address social determinants of health that often lead to chronic disease and premature death.
