This is CGI. Here is the Hawker Tempest MkV. We can only hope that one day someone fires up a Napier Sabre engine again, but for now this is our best attempt at recreating its sound. The Sabre was a 24-cylinder powerhouse, so it’s likely that at high speed its RPM would remain relatively low—resulting in a deeper, lower-pitched engine note. | SpitfireCGI
