The main issue I have with a screwball is when it is taught without forearm pronation, causing bicep/elbow pain & injuries. If the forearm pronates, and your lower body looks the same like all the other pitches, it can be effective for certain pitchers but more importantly healthy on your arm. When taught to step all the way off the power line, booty out, hunch back, “hitch hiker” finish, that is where I instantly take this pitch away from a girl until I correct lower body mechanics / follow thr
