Battle ropes are GREAT for waging war on your core...but they can be even better! Here’s an element of training with them that you may have overlooked. The ropes are essentially momentum generators. Swing them left and right and you’ve got to stabilize the lateral and rotational trunk forces (as you’ll see in the activity of my obliques). But introduce some body position changes in the Sagittal Plane and now you’re cookin! Not to mention, the removal of the full base of support of the legs makes
