Dropping a couple of crab traps is always an option when out on a charter trip with Bon Chovy Fishing Charters. This is mostly done during their winter trips when commercial crabbing is closed. During our recent trip, we decided to drop a couple of traps anyway and managed to find a few keepers. Crab retention depends on the width of the shell and gender.
