New video shows the moment a runaway barge slammed into a pier at the Seattle waterfront during high winds. The video obtained by KOMO News shows the barge in the peak of high winds—up to 39 mph—slam into Pier 66 in Elliott Bay on Nov. 2. A Seattle water taxi and tugboats came to the rescue and pinned the barge against a dock to stop it from moving more.
