Happy Founders Day to the men of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.! Phi Beta Sigma was founded on January 9, 1914 on Howard University’s campus by three African-American men who wanted to organize a fraternity that would exemplify the ideals of brotherhood, scholarship, and service. Today, the Alpha Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma continues the fraternity’s tradition of “Culture for Service and Service for Humanity” through university programs and community initiatives.
