The Mallard Duck is a small dabbling duck that inhabits shallow ponds and wetlands throughout North America. These Mallards (23-2467) were reported to our center when a Hallandale resident discovered them as chicks sitting next to their deceased mother. Fortunately, they had no obvious wounds or fractures. During their time in our hospital, they have started to grow and develop.
