At the 2026 Virtual Matriculation Ceremony of KNUST, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rita Akosua Dickson charged newly admitted students to embrace the future responsibly by enrolling in the University’s AI capacity-building programmes. The Confucius Institute at KNUST (CI-KNUST) is the primary body offering Chinese language courses, cultural programs, and HSK proficiency exams on campus. Working in collaboration with the Department of Language and Communication Sciences, they offer 8-week Mandarin courses, often located at the CCB building. The Institute also hosts cultural events like the Lantern Festival and Chinese New Year celebrations. Location: Confucius Institute Classroom, 3rd Floor, CCB Building.
