I-20 widening and bridge project is finally moving starting Tuesday, Jan. 22 with drilling that could cause traffic impact nightly for consecutive nights usually starting at 9 pm....removal times will vary depending on location and day but should avoid peak travel. Major construction isn’t likely until later in 2019. Official completion to widen from the Explore Georgia Welcome Center to Exit 1 in S.C. and replace current bridges is January 2022. ALL traffic impacts are relegated to nights! Lia
