Security forces on Thursday evening detected an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in sadpora area of Rafiabad in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, officials said. They said that a major tragedy was averted by the timely detection of the IED by a road opening party of the police and Army's 32 RR in area Rafiabad on Baramulla-Handwara road. IED detected, defused in Pulwama Pulwama, Jan 25, : An improvised explosive device (IED) was detected and subsequently destroyed by the Bomb Disposal Squad in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday. Sources said that the IED was found by the Road Opening Party on a road near Badibagh Pahu. They informed the police and accordingly, a Bomb Disposal Squad rushed to the spot and defused the explosive material.
