Fertile porous soil is the key to successfully gardening, so how to make our soil fertile as well as porous?? At the end of every growing season we get a lot garden wastes. We prune the branches, we remove the plants ,vines and weeds . These garden wastes can be composted and recycled into fertile porous soil . I follow the sandwich method to compost them , I:è a layer of soil , then the green wastes followed by dry wastes and again soil. This process continues until the pot or the bag is filled
