All heck broke loose! One of the reasons I enjoy Homosassa Springs, where rescued wildlife are residents, is because the open enclosures allow for interaction with wild animals. In the Pelican and Flamingo area, many wild birds stop in, take a bath, steal some food, have a rest. In the Whooping Crane enclosure one of my favorite things to watch is the squirrels taunting the whoopers who futilely try to stop the squirrels from robbing their feeder.
