Yesterday I spent time sitting by our large pond just watching and absorbing the shapes, sounds and activity of visiting creatures. Butterflies, dragonflies and damselflies were all flitting around me (difficult to film as they are so quick!) I love the waterlilies that nestle within the patterns of rounded leaves and it is easy to get lost in the abstract reflections of the trees in the watery gaps. You might call it wasting time?
