RESTRAINED RECALL Build max value in the handler. Use this exercise in the early stages of developing the return. Use a thick collar or harness to hold the dog back and create some anticipation/excitement prior to the release. The dog should only be released when leaning into the pressure. This exercise can be completed with dogs of all ages, but start young when possible.
