The Durham Police Department’s TACT and Motor Units, along with the Durham County Sheriff’s Office traffic enforcement units, conducted a speed enforcement operation on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. The operation resulted in 107 traffic stops for moving violations, including 94 speeding citations, 3 charges for careless and reckless driving, and 22 other traffic citations.
