In 1960, Sam Phillips opened Sam Phillips Recording. The state of the art studio has two floors of studios, control rooms, mastering rooms, offices, and more. On July 10, 1954, Sun Records owner and producer Sam Phillips took an acetate recording of ELVIS PRESLEY singing "That's All Right" to Memphis radio station WHBQ DJ Dewey Phillips.
