Making a berry compote is as easy as putting berries and sugar in a pot, heating for 10 minutes until the berries start to break down, letting cool, and then using as you like! It’s the perfect topping for pancakes, waffles, pastries, pavlova…the list goes on! 2:1 ratio of fruit to sugar is what we found to work well for us - and keep in mind you can use other berries you have, or add in some lemon or vanilla for extra flavor!
