Mush! The UP200 Sled Dog Race begins this weekend. It’s one of the country’s premier mid-distance sled dog races, welcoming teams from around the world, and is a qualifying race for the Iditarod. The 228-mile course will take mushers and their dogs through hilly terrain, deep snow, through U.P. towns, along Lake Superior shoreline and down backwoods trails. It’s a true test of endurance and skill for these canine athletes. Join us in wishing the teams good luck this year! Downtown Marquette is a
