I’m always getting asked about my Skew, how sharp it needs to be, how I sharpen and do I use fine grits and hone. I have put together a few of my clips in hard, medium and soft woods all Kiln dried, real speed and slow motion ( no sound) showing although I use the tool straight of the grinding wheel, I don’t hone and freehand grind on an 80 grit 8” ruby wheel, it is perfectly sharp.
