Linde Engineering has just started up the world’s first plant for extracting blended hydrogen from natural gas pipelines using membrane technology. The blended gas could consist of between 5 and 60 percent hydrogen. The hydrogen can be extracted using membranes, resulting in a hydrogen concentration of up to 90 percent. When further processed with Linde Engineering’s pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology, a purity of up to 99.9999 percent can be achieved. #Hydrogen #Engineering #Technology
