A team of RAF engineers swapped aircraft maintenance (and other RAF engineering trades) for race car building at the Autosport International show at the NEC in Birmingham this weekend. The team, led by Flight Sergeant Chris Slator (who is also the RAF Motorsports Association Race Team Leader) took a standard road car and rebuilt it into a race car by stripping out the interior, inserting a roll cage and building in fire supression systems and other important modifications infront of the general
