Pipkins began as Inigo Pipkin in 1973. In the show, lovable (or possibly creepy) Inigo Pipkin played by George Woodbridge, made puppets from hell to traumatise the little ‘uns. Watch the opening credits to see children developing PTSD as Inigo grimaces his way through the puppet shows he puts on. It got worse, of course. Sadly George died after the first series and it was left to assistant Johnny (Wayne Laryea) to explain the concept of death to already depressed ankle biters. | Scarred For Life
