Can't beleive i caught a turtle on a surf rod Fishing the lagoon at double island yields some crazy creatures, its why I love going there but this was an absolute first! I was using long shank barbless hooks for some reason today and lucky I was! Michelangelo didnt swallow the hook, infact he was only just snagged on the inside of his little snappy turtle lips with the long shank still sticking out. I was able to easily remove the hook quick and pain free for little Michaelangelo and he swam off
