I haven't really had time to process all my feeling in what I have seen the last 24 hours but wanted to put this up. Now for a few hours of sleep and up at 4:00am to head back to Mayfield for live coverage at first light. Please pray for the people impacted by the storms and put some feet to those prayers if you can. While never a good time for this to happen but 2 weeks before Christmas makes it much worse

A year ago this week, a deadly storm swept through Mayfield, Kentucky just weeks before Christmas. An EF-4 tornado leveled parts of downtown and decimated whole neighborhoods and businesses. Samaritan’s Purse U.S. Disaster Relief responded right away to help the hurting community. More than 700 homeowners received help during the relief phase of our work, and we praise God that at least 82 Mayfield residents received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior during that time.
