On May 23, 1994 Matt Hardy made his WWF debut against Nikolai Volkoff on an episode of Monday Night Raw that aired on the USA Network from the Struthers Field House in Youngstown, Ohio. Hardy continued to wrestle sporadically in the WWF throughout 1994 and 1995 before teaming with brother Jeff Hardy for the first time in the WWF in 1996.
