Everyone told us that the donkey abuse with donkey carts will never end but we kept going back and working with donkey owners to understand how we could stop the abuse. We realized we just had to show our kindness by consistently showing up every time they needed medical treatment for their animal. People are so jaded in Pakistan because everyone is trying to swindle you and scam you. People thrive on big words and false promises and the facade of caring.
