We've shared the stories of all the pack but one. Poppy. Poppy has had a colourful life with the wolfpack. She was never meant to stay with us. It was always the plan to keep her brother Paddy as we always wanted a boy to balance out the the girls in the pack. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be and we lost paddy at 5 months to fluid on his lungs, something that was likely to have occured before he was born and completely unforseen. As you'd all know by now, the Wolfpack are a tight knit group and keeling them away from meeting any of the new pups has always been quite a challenge. Both Poppet and Poppy have been gracious in letting the others close to the pups and Poppy loved daisy to come in with her when she gad the pupkins. 🦔❤️ ...and now a video. Little poppet trying to eat... ”This beautiful little hedgehog is our first admission for 2026... 🦔A very small and very late hoglet. How it's managed to survive through the winter weather is amazing. 💧He was picked up by a dog very early in the morning, probably disturbed while out searching for food. Luckily for this little one there are folks who put out food and water for hedgehogs all year round... And the food he's managed to find has probably saved his life. 🩵L
