Sewing multiple layers of bulky fabric and fleece can be really tricky, and that’s where a good ruler comes in handy. The ruler I use has a cork backing on it, which helps prevent it from slipping on the fabric. By using firm pressure on the ruler, that helps prevent the fabric from shifting as you sew.
