Eastern Phoebe Identification, All About Birds, Cornell Lab of Ornithology

"Fee-bee! Fee-bee!" Here's a bird who sings its name! Eastern Phoebes are year-round residents here at YOUR State Park, but they just began singing their spring songs a few days ago. They're in the flycatcher family, so you can guess they like to catch (and eat) flies and other flying insects. Watch for them near the lake shore, especially near cliffs.
