Why Democrats use a donkey and Republicans use an elephant

Turns out it wasn’t the year of the donkey, which is probably for the best. It was the year where our procrastination (or prioritization, depending on what spin you favor) was a subconscious strategy to avoid taking on new responsibilities we couldn’t keep up with (e.g., still broken fence = no donkeys). It was also the year where government policy made hard decisions for us…like pushing pause on hemp efforts until we see how the bill to close the loophole on the 2018 farm bill shakes out. Side
