Making a cutting board seems to be a rite of passage for a woodworker and I used to wonder what all the fuss was about. Now that I’ve made my first one, I see why they’re so popular. Making cutting (or serving) boards is a fun and easy project where the possibilities for customization are endless! I was inspired by Indian bone inlay furniture and translated that into my first cutting board. But it turned out so pretty, I’m not sure I want to cut on it! So I guess this makes it a serving board. �
