Combat Engineers from the 41st Engineer Battalion (Clearance), 36th Engineer Brigade, honed their skills recently at a demolition range. The training required them to place different types of explosives used to clear obstacles or create one to impede enemy movement. The VLB is thankful for the men of the Texas 36th Infantry Division from WWII. These Texas farmers served over 400 days in active combat with 14 Medals of Honor awarded to its soldiers as they fought for the freedom of Europe and its people.
