Genesis released their second studio album "Trespass" #OnThisDay, 55 years ago. It was the final album to feature original guitarist Anthony Phillips and drummer John Mayhew. The single,"The Knife,” remained part of Genesis’ live gigs for several years — performed here at The Bataclan in Paris, 1973 with Phil Collins and Steve Hackett, who joined the group shortly after the album's release. “Genesis Live”, the first live album from Genesis, was released #OnThisDay in 1973. Recorded earlier that year at De Montfort Hall in Leicester during the “Foxtrot” tour (except “The Return of the Giant Hogweed” recorded in Manchester), the live album reached the top 10 in the UK - the band’s first album to do so.
