Geese are famous for their V-shaped flying formation, which helps them conserve energy during long migrations. Each goose creates uplift for the one behind, allowing the flock to fly farther together. Geese mate for life and are very loyal. If one goose is injured or sick, its partner (or even another flock member) often stays behind to protect it. Goose parents are highly protective of their goslings and will bravely chase away much larger animals, including humans, if they feel threatened. Som
