The Hubble Space Telescope once pointed at a seemingly empty patch of sky for 11 days. What it found changed everything. The image, now known as the Hubble Ultra-Deep Field, revealed over 10,000 galaxies packed into a space smaller than the moon in the sky. It showed that even the darkest parts of the universe are filled with ancient light, billions of galaxies hiding in plain sight.
