St. Patrick’s Day parades stepped off in the Garden State early this month, but the festivities are far from over. Parades to celebrate Irish pride will be held from the top of the state in Sussex County all the way down to Cape May County through the end of March.
You needn’t have Irish blood to wear green and make merry because celebrating “Irishness” has come to mean embracing fun and community.
As it has since 1981, the parade stepped off from 103rd Street down Western Avenue to 115th Street despite intermittent sheets of rain and a wind working against those marching the route.
The Chicago Pride Parade announced its grand marshals and theme for 2026 on Tuesday.
Through the years, Pittsburgh’s Irish pride has been on full display through the streets of Downtown the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day. Parade Chairman Kevin Conboy said It’s known as an event
